Hi, I'm Hayley, the heart and hands behind Fortress Jewelry. This journey started from a love of metalsmithing and a passion for creating jewelry that’s more than just an accessory—it’s a reflection of the light within us, a reminder of our inner strength and beauty. My jewelry is crafted as a form of soulful armor to help you feel empowered and connected to your true self.

My new collection is created through the ancient art of sandcasting which gives it a raw, organic texture that feels as though it was formed by the earth itself. 

My love for creating began early, inspired by my dad, a talented woodworker who instilled in me a deep appreciation for craftsmanship. As a child I helped him at his craft show booths, which sparked a love of creating within me. Though he passed away when I was 13 his memory lives on in my work, connecting me to the roots of handmade artistry.

Originally from the UK, I’ve traveled through many parts of the world but now call British Columbia home. Living here with my husband and two children, I’m continually inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds us—mountains, ocean, and forest. It’s this landscape that influences my commitment to sustainable practices, using recycled silver whenever possible and carefully sourcing all gemstones.
